Cape Cod Film Photos

This magical wedding weekend in Dennis, MASSACHUSETTS was straight out of a dream. The couple was so in love and their friends and family so excited to gather and celebrate that love. The day began with tender getting ready photos in Cape Cod. The couple then drove SEPARATELY to a private beach on the cape where they had their first look.

As their wedding photographer I captured this beautiful wedding with a mixture of Digital, 35mm film, and Medium format. Not only did we use these methods to capture the big day but a mixture of approaches as well. Throughout a lot of the wedding day I used a documentary approach. Sweet candids happened from the authentic moments happening. We also went for some editorial posed and prompted photos during their portrait session. As the night winded down and we got out onto cape cod for suset photos there was a lot of cinematic moments unfolding.

It was Such a sweet and joyous day of capturing true love in so many forms. Some of my favorite moments were the first look, walking by the boats on the cape for the ceremony, and then the lively party.

New England Summer and early fall weddings are so wonderful. THere is something so crisp and alive there. After this wedding I went to Rhode island where i was able to capture some beautiful film photos on a flower farm, and more film for the best engagement party right on the water.
